Snowed in...
Actually, we're iced in- we spent about 40 minutes this morning trying to get the car out, breaking up ice, throwing down salt and cat litter- to no avail. And now the car is stuck blocking the alley. Great. Any solutions? Let us know.
As for the weight thing, I'm down 5.5 lbs. So, slow and steady.
Last night, we watched Ed Wood with Rora- and she watched the whole thing, very interested. After it was over, she said she wanted to make a movie, and went to grab several of her toys while I got the video camera for her. As she began filming her "monster movie", she started to dress one of the boy dolls as a girl, in gold lame gloves and a skirt. Guess she couldn't find any angora sweaters. Last words I heard her say before I left the room were, "I'm a boy, but I like to dress like a girl..."

Yeah! Its Thursday!
Why yeah? I don't work every other Friday- so tomorrow starts long weekend- yeah!I saw Pan's Labyrinth last night- its genius. Hard to watch, but pure genius. And sandwiches from Cosi weren't bad either.
Weight Update
Still holding at -4.5 lbs. Haven't been exercising as regularly as I should be, BUT I have gotten my speed up to 6.6 MPH when running (not for incredibly long durations mind you), so that's something.

On the Rory Front
The other day we were on our way home from the YMCA, when Rory started singing a whale song. One she made up herself. Something about mommy and daddy whales, clown whales, whatever. This is a fairly normal occurence- she makes up songs and sings them all the time. This time, however, Kev decided to accompany her by making whale noises. First, he's tone deaf. Second, I'm not exactly fond of irritating repetitive noises. So, I had to spend a half hour in the car listening to this mess. And whenever Kev stopped, Rora would tell him to keep singing. I think it was a preview of my own personal hell.
This morning, I reminded her that we are going to Florida in two weeks for an early birthday celebration. She immediately said, "No Mommy, we are going to Disney, NOT Florida!". How right she is.
