Oo! Now you're some kinda wild dog with giant ears! Whee! You were a spider, but I went back and changed my answers, because ick. So if I do put this on my blog, you own me. NO SPIDERS!
Actually, The Golden Compass (titled Northern Lights in the UK) is not a series itself, but the first book in a series by Philip Pullman. It's called His Dark Materials, and it's 'for kids' in the same way Harry Potter is. And, I would actually venture to say that it is even less so 'for kids' than the latest Potter books are. It's a wonderful trilogy of books that I highly recommend to anyone.
Like the Potter books, though, it has been made into a film scheduled for release in December of this year.

Huh. I don't remember what it was before, but now it's a white weasel named Gabriel.
I would not have pegged you for a weasel, not at all. But who am I to disagree with the internet?

Answered for Kelly and got some big 'ol mangy cat named Gabriel. It had been some sort of weasel.

It was a ferret! Not a weasel!

Okay, the weasel was my doing, sorry about that. Now it appears to be a lynx. Off to try to change it again, tra-la! This is fun!
(Also, I think I will not put this on my blog, because Kelly will turn me into a stinkbug.)
