First hat I ever made...
And no, it doesn't look anything like what I wanted it to look, and it ended up with a great gaping hole at the top (I have no idea how you are supposed to resolve that part- but that's what pompoms are for, right? Right?), and I was making it for MY head, and as it turns out it fits my kid's much better, and I must have turned it around accidentally at one point, and purled a whole section I didn't intend to (I actually like this effect), but I still think its damn cute, and it only took a couple of hours. That is if you don't count the many times I had to rip it out and start over (thanks you so much Alala for the tips!). Which I'm not. So there.
