Happy Halloween!

And here is my Scary Mix....

I decided to go with the theme of what people typically find scary- spiders, rats, vampires, etc, and choose a song for each one (sometimes more- so sue me!). Its fairly light-hearted rather than gloomy, although it does get darker as you go along- sort of like one of those movies that starts out all light and fun, and ends up with heads rolling on the ground. I hope it was enjoyed!

Fear of Clowns. So many people are afraid of clowns, this song allows those with an imagination to get their revenge...

Fear of Psychos. I thought the more generic psycho killer should get some props...

Sympathy For the Devil by Bossa N'Stones

Fear of the Devil. Have to have a nod to the man himself...

Good Rats by Dropkick Murphys

Fear of Rats. Not really a Halloween song, but it turns out I don't have much in the way of "rat-themed" music. I'll have to see if iTunes has Ben.

The Boogie Monster by Gnarls Barkely

Fear of the Boogey Man. This might be my favorite song on the list- and it has both the generic Boogey man and Schizophrenia!

Boris the Spider by The Who

Fear of Spiders. I love this song, and though there were lots of choices for the Fear of Spiders, this worked best.

Haunted House Blues by Bessie Smith

Fear of Haunted Houses. Ah, she's a classic, and so is the song.

Werewolf Blues by Walker T. Ryan

Fear of Werewolves (or becoming one). Another favorite discovery- and who wants to wake up furry and covered in blood anyway? Okay, I guess I don't want to know...

Fear of Ducks. A must-have song. What, you aren't afraid of ducks? You don't know them that well then, do you? And besides, I couldn't find any scary cow songs...

Fear of giant monkeys? Or fear of bad movies by Peter Jackson? Its your call...

Bloodletting (The Vampire Song) by Concrete Blonde

Fear of Vampires. Ah, so many to choose from. But this one totally rocks.

Dead Souls by Nine Inch Nails

Fear of Ghosts... besides which, this was used in The Crow, which is an excellent movie for Halloween.

Fear of witches... (and another favorite of mine)

And perhaps the creepiest song of all...

Careful With That Axe, Eugene by Pink Floyd

Fear of Axe-wielding Maniacs. Makes sense to me. Very creepy and subtle.

Thank you, thank you for the mix. I loved it. I especially liked The Boogie Monster and Haunted House Blues.

As soon as I got it, I had to find out who sung what and I think I did a great job. I had all the songs right but I didn't know who sang Sympathy For the Devil.

The March of The Sinister Ducks freaked me out.
