I Hate Cows...

I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!

As usual- I sat in front of the computer last night thinking "Hmm, there is something I must do...", but it never came to me. But here it is anyway- my mixmania Hot list, which I called "You Sexy Thang":

You Sexy Thing by Hot Chocolate
I wanted this list to be about things I find sexy- and chocolate and compliments always do it for me...

Forest Whitiker by Brother Ali
Any overweight albino rappers with this much self-confidence get my vote as being totally sexy. Besides, I think Forest Whitaker is hot. Yes I do.

Thinkin' About Your Body by Bobby McFerrin
This is not the "Don't Worry Be Happy" Bobby McFerrin. The dude is great. Check him out.

Can't Get Enough of Your Love by Barry White

Barry White- 'nuff said.

This Business of Love by DoM.I.No
I just like this song- I don't know why. Maybe its 'cause the guy has a VERY sexy voice.

In These Shoes by Kirsty MacColl
One of my favorite songs ever- you can't tell me this isn't hot.

Fever by Ray Charles & Natalie Cole

This is another "gimme" selection. I mean really- its perfect.

Good Morning Little Schoolgirl by Jonny Lang
Only boy that makes me want to go cradle-robbing, and that's based on his music alone.

Slip Away by Clarence Carter
The great Clarence Carter- I can't get enough of him.

Peel Me a Grape by Diana Krall
I'm not a huge fan of hers, but this song does it for me.

Hello My Baby by Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Not the WB them song, I swear, just soft, rhythmic and good.

Spill the Wine by Eric Burden and War
This is the same as the Brother Ali thing, and I think Long haired gnomes are sexy too.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
I had to put this on- no choice whatsoever.

Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield
She sings this in exactly the right way. Love it.

Hummingbird by B.B. King
My husband's favorite B.B. King song, both sad and sexy at the same time.

Hips Don't Lie by Shakira w/ Wyclef Jean
The sexiest song to come out this year- I can't resist it despite the hype.

Comes Love by Billie Holliday
Billie Holliday knew what love was, and she sang it with her whole being.

Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me by Susan Sarandan

Remember- sex is funny, yes it is.

Ice Cream Man by Tom Waits
There always has to be Tom Waits, and let me tell you how this song does NOT make me think of ice cream.

I'm in the Mood by John Lee Hooker
I LOVE this man's voice.

At Last by Etta James
Etta James is another one who sang it 'cause she knew it. One of my favorite songs ever.

Kind Woman by Buffalo Springfield
A nod to the hippy crunchiness I can't escape. There's a need there that can hardly be resisted.

Love and Happiness by Al Green
I love Al Green, but the horns really put this one over the top.

Erotic City by George S. Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic
This song is just SEX. And its terrific. I dare you to keep from moving.

If Love Was a Train by Michelle Shocked
Listen to the words on this one- fabulous!

Bandy Bandy by Zap Mama
I love me some Zap Mama- and I think this is her sexiest yet.

Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino
I think my grandmother always thought his "thrill" was some sort of religious epiphany- I think she was wrong, wrong, wrong.

When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge
Percy Sledge is definately the man.

Feelin' Love by Paula Cole
Just a good, sexy song.

Lay, Lady, Lay by Bob Dylan
I love the way he sings this- its Bob Dylan at his sexiest.

I'm On Fire by Tori Amos
The Bruce Springsteen song, a bit slower, a bit more sultry- just as effective.

Try a Little Tenderness by Otis Redding
I first heard this song while in theatre school- we were doing a play called "The Road", and it ended the play, and I swear, every evening the audience would be in some sort of trance because of it. It was amazing.

You Can Leave Your Hat On by Tom Jones
I love Tom Jones, I can't help it.

Crazy Love by Van Morrison
Just a beautiful, sexy song.

Goodnight, Sweetheart by The Spaniels
And to end it...

Sadly, I never got a mix from anyone else, but maybe it will arrive this week? :(

I love that Kirsty MacColl song! Her voice just smokes in that song! You've got a great list there, but I didn't get it!!
