Sapporo brewers in Japan have perfected zero gravity beer. Currently, multiple reports note that Sapporo is introducing SAPPORO Space Barley, a 5.5 percent ABV beer made with barley completely cultivated in the zero gravity environment of space. Big things are afoot for Eastern Shore Brewing in St. Michaels, MD. According to Adrian Moritz, who owns the tiny brewery in the small resort town, the brewery added new fermenters this month, effectively doubling the facility’s capacity to brew beer.
